Roxanne is the founder of The Hobbs Consultancy, initially founded to effect change for women in the advertising industry.  Since then she has come to realise that it isn’t the women that need fixing and that it is not just women who face barriers in the workplace.

“I founded The Hobbs Consultancy because of a deep-seated belief that the advertising industry had to, and could, do better to support women.  Whilst this journey began with supporting women, and gender diversity, it has become clear to me that diversity is about so much more than gender.

I believe that creating more diversity in the advertising industry is going to make our work more creative, our consumer work more insightful and also make it a richer and more varied place to work. It is business critical”

Roxanne’s specialism is inclusivity in the workplace - how to show up as yourself and how to create teams that feel able to show up as themselves.  She supports the transition from management to leadership, pulling out the limiting beliefs that might hold people back - such as perfectionism.  She also specialises in the maternity transition - supporting women through this vulnerable and transformational part of their careers.  She believes that it is possible to have a fulfilling career and a happy home life and works with women to achieve just that.

She is also the founder of the HeANDShe conference - designed to bring men along to the gender conversation, and explore how both men and women are held back by gender stereotypes. Roxanne was a managing partner at a top media agency and so understands the pressures at a senior level in this industry.  She coaches extensively in media agencies, creative agencies, media owners, FMCG marketing departments and privately on a one-to-one basis.   A certified co-active coach who is also trained in the work of Brené Brown, Roxanne is warm, compassionate and challenging. She exemplifies inclusivity in her work, her approach and how she runs The Hobbs Consultancy.
