For those new in the advertising industry or those coming from another area of an agency, TV advertising with all its jargon can seem a little daunting. As a result, TAM Ireland and the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI) have teamed up to create a training workshop which will provide participants with a grounding in the essentials of TV planning and buying. The training course has been developed with, and is supported by Thinkbox UK.

These FREE training workshops are designed to give you a really good grounding in the essentials of today’s TV and what the medium can do for advertisers. We cover areas such as:

  • TV jargon
  • Strengths of TV
  • A look at the current TV market place
  • Fundamentals of the TV planning and buying process
  • Factors that determine the cost of TV advertising
  • Various advertising opportunities available on TV

All of the above takes place in a casual and relaxed manner, with quizzes and open floor discussions during the session. There is plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss TV topics. All you need to bring is a notepad, an open mind and any questions you may have about television.
