Data is what makes your submission sing so this session will help to make sure it hits all the right notes!  

Attendees to this event will have priority for Energiser 4 the one to one clinic.

In the words of Edward Deming, “In God we trust, all others must bring data”.  This applies to advertisers too and consequently the proof of impact is a critical element of your submission.  In this interactive masterclass we will guide you through best-practice for building a solid evidence base and compelling ADFX case.  With such an abundance of data at our disposal it is more important than ever that its essence is distilled, key messages are drawn out and that it is presented in a way that is accessible and clear.  To ensure that this is achieved in your evidence-based ADFX submission we will work through the “TOTAL” framework. 

Truthful: Providing an honest, credible and isolated assessment of the impact of the campaign allowing for relevant “discounting factors” and “co-contributors”.  

Objective: From a verified, reliable and unbiased third party source where possible.

Timely: Data that clearly demonstrates the “in-campaign” effect with longitudinal data where available. 

Applicable: Connecting the affect back to the brief to show that it delivered against the desired outcomes; both brand and commercial.   

Legible:  Presented in a clear, accessible and visually impactful way for the reader

The facilitator of this session, David Cullen, comes with an unrivalled pedigree when it comes to research, insight and evidence-based evaluation.  David is currently managing partner with Bayes & Becker; a strategy and insight consultancy.  With over 20 years’ experience, he is a former Managing Director of research agencies OI Research and RED C Research and is a former Director of Millward Brown Ireland.  He is also a former ADFX judge which gives him a clear view on what is needed to create a winning submission.  A multi award winning insight specialist, David will share his perspectives on building a compelling case that will stand up to the judge’s scrutiny.
